Slow your ageing by six years?

 A study presented at the American Heart Association (AHA) Scientific Sessions 2023 highlighted "Life’s Essential 8," a set of lifestyle and health measures that could decelerate biological aging by up to six years.

These eight factors are: 

Eating a healthy diet 

Engaging in regular physical activity 

Maintaining a healthy weight 

Managing blood pressure 

Controlling cholesterol levels 

Keeping blood sugar levels in a healthy range 

Getting sufficient, quality sleep 

Avoiding tobacco use 

The researchers said those with high cardiovascular health were found to be about six years younger biologically (the pace at which the body has aged for every year alive) than their actual (chronological) age. Much more detail here:-
